4 Steps to the perfect fit

For the most accurate results, it's best to take your measurements dressed only in your underwear.

1. Lift and centre

Your bra should centre your bust; from the front, your bust should be in line with your rib cage and lifted to half way between your elbow and shoulder.

2. Uplift

Your bra band should be positioned lower at the back than the front, so it sits better and tips the bust up slightly. To test, lift your arms above your head in front of a mirror. The bra should stay in place and not lift.

3. Support

The underwire should fit behind your breast and flat against your rib cage. The cup should enclose your breast without overspill and bulging. If the wire is correct and this is happening, are you wearing the correct style of bra for your shape?

4. Firm Fit

The bra band should offer some give, but should not be too loose as this will reduce support. To check, put your thumb under the clasp and lift it away from your body. It should not lift away more than 1 inch.

How to measure

For the most accurate results, it's best to take your measurements dressed only in your underwear.

1. Back Size (Under bust measurement)

Place the tape measure around your rib cage immediately under your bust, the tape should feel firm. Ensure the tape is parallel front and back (standing side on to a mirror will help)

TIP - You may find it easier to measure yourself with your bra off. Take measurements in CM.

2. Cup size (Bust measurement)

Measure the fullest part of your bust, be sure the tape is parallel across your back as before. Then refer to the bra size chart under your relevant bra size.

TIP - You may find it easier to measure yourself with your bra off. Take measurements in CM.

Find your bra size

Refer to the bra size chart using your measurements to work out your bra size.

For example, if your under bust measurement is 81cm, you will need a 36 back size.

And if your bust measurement is 97cm, you will need a C cup. This makes your bra size 36C.
